Gras parade props decorate the walls of the Sassagoula
Floatworks and Food Factory food court designed to resemble
a Mardi Gras float-making factory. American and Creole
cuisine is served here. Guests can feast on pizza, pasta,
hamburgers, fried and spit-roasted chicken, barbecue ribs,
red beans and rice, sandwiches, cafe au lait, fresh fruit
and baked goods. Hours are from 6 a.m. to midnight. The
Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory can seat 300 guests.
TIP: You must try the beignets here. They are small deep fried puff pastries covered with powdered sugar and are served warm. They are too delicious! Room service is limited to pizza, salads, soft drinks and beer and is available from 4 p.m. until midnight. |
