TIP: Towels are available at the main pool, but for the quiet pools, you must bring your room towels with you when using the pool facilities. You can call Housekeeping to replenish the towel supply in your room.
For those who prefer water
travel, there are water mice, pedal boats, canopy boats, pontoon
boats, sailboats, kayaks and canoes offered.
Those who would like to relax while here will find the sand beaches, palm trees and hammocks just the thing to fit the bill! There is a volleyball court on the sandy beach of Old Port Royale. Children will enjoy the playgrounds found throughout the resort in the villages of Jamaica, Trinidad South and Barbados, in addition to the one on Parrot Cay Island. In Old Port Royale, Goombay Games Arcade has the latest in video games for kids of all ages. |

The
Caribbean Beach Resort main pool is found at Old Port Royale
and is themed to resemble an old Spanish-style Caribbean fort
complete with pirates' cannons and stone walls. The main pool
has lifeguards for part of each day and the pool is open from
7 a.m. until midnight. There is a themed water slide, children’s
wading pool and spa here as well. In addition to the main pool,
each village has its own quiet pool (including two at Trinidad,
one for the North building and one for the South), and each has
its own laundry and restroom area. 
The
1.4 mile promenade that surrounds the lake is popular for cycling,
jogging, or walking. Bicycles are available to rent at the Barefoot
Bay Bikeworks over by the lighthouse at Old Port Royale. The
costs for rentals are $3/half hour. Children’s bicycles,
child seats and helmets are also available and there are a limited
number of bicycles with training wheels as well. Surrey bikes
are also offered and the 2-seaters are $16/half hour and the
4-seaters $18/half hour.
